Not even a month gone, and already we've another large hurricane to face.

Deepest wishes for safe passage to those in regions affected by Hurricane Rita. Says the article:
GALVESTON, Texas (Reuters) - Hurricane Rita strengthened on Wednesday into a powerful, intensely dangerous Category 5 storm as it headed toward the Texas coast and prompted evacuation orders for more than a million people.

The storm had grown into the third most intense Atlantic hurricane on record as measured by internal pressure, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.

This is happening right now.

Deepest sympathy to those who have already lost everything to Katrina, and who are now being chased out of Louisiana (again) and (now) Texas by the approaching storm, which is expected to make landfall Friday or Saturday.

Useful: See the Eye on the Tropics 2005 site for satellite imagery of the gulf region.
